I'm always surprised that couples that fit my personality always find me. Michael + Michelle love like they've never experienced pain and play like they grew up down the street from one another. They share a contagious joy and you can't help but get good feelings when you're around them. I couldn't help but constantly laugh at their McKinney Falls engagement session.

How They Met

They met just a little over 2 years ago through a mutual friend. He immediately caught Michelle's eye with his infectious smile and personality. They instantly became friends and the relationship grew from there. 

"I think the sparks really started flying when he came over just to talk as I cooked for a friends party that he wasn't even attending just so he could spend time with me". 

They went on their first official date to Canyon Lake to kayak and spent hours in the sun laughing, swimming and listening to music. "I knew this man was amazing. He was sweet, funny, thoughtful, smart, confident, driven, family oriented and he saw right through any walls that I had built through the years. I fell hard, so hard. I love this man more than words will ever be able to explain. I love us and the life we are building together."

How He Asked

I'm happy to say that I witnessed this part. Michael reached out to me with all the details of his plan. He blindfolded Michelle as he lead her up a path to view the Austin skyline. He ensured to keep her looking out at the scenery as he pulled the ring out and bent down to one knee. Once she said yes she was able to see that she was actually surrounded by her family and some of her closest friends. 

The Plans

M+M will be announcing their vows in Spring 2022 at the beautiful and charming hill country venue The Chandelier of Gruene. I just photographed at this venue and I must say there are so many beautiful spots I may get lost in their bride + groom portrait session. I cannot wait to celebrate with them. Judging my the engagement session, I know we are going to have fun fun fun at the reception!
