I helped the owners Mike + Alex of wedding + event venue Elm Pass Woods organize their first open house back in January. I did a giveaway to a random couple for a free engagement session, and although Megan admitted she didn't really want engagement photos and believes she never wins anything, her and Tristan were the lucky couple! I guess you can call it a sign. 

One born on the north side of the US and the other in the South, they met while Tristan was going to grad school in Michigan. Megan, an animal lover and dog mom, noticed when a cute boy with two cats popped up on her Tinder feed and as Megan describes, it was "love at first swipe". 

The first few months were most difficult since Tristan's job kept sending him to northern Alaska. After almost 2 years of long-distance dating, they decided it was time to join forces and move to Wyoming. It was short lived because Tristan found permanent work in Austin, Texas where they currently live with their happy fur family. 

It blows my mind how every couple's engagement session starts out reserved and proper and as their personalities begin to unfold we get the best candid photos! I fell in love these two and as you look through the images, you will too. 

T+M will be having a spring wedding next year at Lone Star Oaks in Liberty Hill. They're such a passionate and fun-loving couple, I can't wait to party it up with them. We just met, but I feel like I've known them forever!!!
