It's challenging to describe just how much I fell in love with Jake and Hanna's special day. If you have followed me for a while, you know engagement sessions are a must. That's where trust is established and my couples get comfortable in front of me and my camera but sometimes that's not possible, especially when they live states away. Since they both live busy lives in California, I knew going into their wedding day I would be meeting them for the first time all while teaching them to loosen up in front of my lens. I was so relieved to find that they're exactly the same personalities I saw on Instagram. Jake greeted me with a hug as did Hanna however she also had a mini bottle of Jack Daniel's and Tito's Vodka. They're both easy to love, spontaneous, authentic and genuine.
The Moonlight Manor did an amazing job and made the already beautiful Green Pastures even more stunning. However, as magnificent as the decor was, the best part was seeing Jake and Hanna together. One of my favorite parts of the day was observing Jake watch Hanna walk down the floral-lined aisle and the way they looked at each other when they were finally face-to-face. I'm sure that moment seemed like an eternity to the both of them.
Jake + Hanna, I knew we'd hit it off from the moment I followed you on Instagram. You have a contagious joy for one another and it's obvious in your presence and images. You're a glowing couple and it was such an honor to photograph your wedding and get to mingle within your group of friends and family. I love you for your charm, energy and endless appreciation for people and life.
