I asked Annalicia to describe her wedding day in one sentence and she took quite a while to come up with an answer. "Love. Love isn't always easy, it's work but there's so much beauty that comes from it."

Annalicia and Phillip met through mutual friends. They started talking and after a few months, lost touch for quite some time. Facebook played the matchmaker in their story and reunited them. Both a bit wiser this time, everything felt different and yet the same. She knew he was someone to keep on their first date when they went out for dinner to the Oasis and watched the sun set. Their innocent giggles and flirty exchanges led to nonstop laughter and lengthy conversations. "I'm surprised I didn't scare Phillip off" - Annalicia.

Annalicia's a middle school coach and had led a basketball tournament on the day Phillip proposed. When it was all over Phillip suggested dinner at Palmer's in San Marcos. As they discussed how much they've both grown in their careers and lives individually and as a couple dessert came to the table. It proposed a question she had to read slowly to make sure it was real.

Will you marry me?

Phillip got down to one knee and asked Annalicia to stand up. Of course, she said YES!

Phillip and Annalicia had a Christamas Eve-Eve wedding so they celebrated their Christmas honeymoon in New York. 

My friends, it's been an honor to photograph your wedding. i knew from the moment I overheard the two of you read your letters to each other during the first-look that your love, respect and admiration for one another runs deep. It made my eyes fill with joyous tears when you both confessed how committed and thankful you were for one another that when it was done I felt the need to hug the two of you and say, "Lets do this! Lets get ya'll married!". Congrats you adorable kids!
