High School Sweethearts Engagement Session | Austin, Texas | Adrian + Sabrina

I'm very excited to share this engagement session with all of you. It's not often I get asked to photograph in the area "behind the boxing gym". Sabrina had a vision and we made it happen. You'd never believe that I was photographing while standing in the middle of the street, or that a busy street was just yards away. 

How They Met:

Adrian was 15 and Sabrina 16 when they first met. That's Right, high school sweethearts! They immediately noticed each other kindness and fun-loving personalities. With time, texting turned into long night phone calls and soon enough Adrian was walking Sabrina to her classes. Although he already considered her his girlfriend, but after some Italian food he made it official on October 8th, 2010. Adrian's kindness continues to be one of the leading qualities Sabrina sees in him. "Every time I see him helping someone when he surely does not have to, it brings a smile to my face and I'm just in awe of him". 

"It's been quite a journey full of emotions, but one thing was clear ... our love for each other never faded but continued to grow as we grew. We continued encouraging and supporting one another. Now we added some extra love with our 3 dogs that definitely keep the laughter and love going."

How He Asked:

Shortly after moving back to their hometown after college, Adrian took her out on a date in Austin for some good ole putt putt (her favorite), dinner, and a night on Congress Ave. They walked to the I Love You So Much mural and down on one knee he went. "It's time. Will you marry me?". You can image the delight on both their faces when she said yes. "Our hearts felt like they would jump out any moment". 

Adrian & Sabrina will be tying vowing to one another next fall at Hummingbird House. You two have so much style and personality, I can't wait for the big celebration!
