As you were popping fireworks or maybe sleeping into the new year, I was with this beautiful couple at the historic wedding venue The Mansion. There’s no better way to ensure that party atmosphere than to throw a killer party on New Year's Eve.

I always say wedding planners and wedding coordinators are essential for a smooth and run wedding. After following Curtis + Vanessa on social media, I wondered how they had time to plan a wedding with being such an active part of the community but with the help of Veronica from Awe Events ATX, the wedding went down without anyone losing their sanity. 

The Mansion has a lovely little hidden courtyard that's perfect for a private moment and a few pictures. Vanessa, in her timeless Sarah Seven wedding gown, met with Curtis before the ceremony for their first-look, and his reaction did not disappoint. 

The ceremony ambiance was dreamy and one of my favorite parts of the reception was the Ballet Folklorico. I love it when the couple includes a surprise performance for their guests. I also can't forget to mention the midnight fireworks or the getaway horse carriage. Such a fun wedding!

They vacationed in Costa Rica for their honeymoon, hiking through lava fields and living the life. Congrats my friends, and I can't wait to see what amazing things you do together.
